The pupils were really pleased to meet us, and, as well as telling us all about their life at the residential school, they were very keen to know if their education and schooling are similar to pupils' experiences in the UK. The first photo shows a final year pupil whose home we visited- we met his sister and father and learned a lot about his background. We had a fascinating day at the school meeting all kinds of people: pupils, teachers, support staff, governors and so on. We were made to feel extremely welcome. Not only did we see lessons, but we attended assemblies, watched sporting activities, visited a pupil's home and were treated to a wonderful music and drama performance at the end of the day.
